Los Angeles: On Saturday, February 7, 2004 at 1:05 p.m., the victim was driving his vehicle and was stopped for the red phase of the tri-light signal westbound on Coliseum Street at La Brea Avenue. At this time an unknown year Chevrolet Camaro stopped next to the victim. Numerous gunshots were fired from the Camaro into the victim’s car striking him several times. The victim’s car then rolled into the intersection and stopped. The Camaro then left the area. There is no description of the person or persons in the vehicle.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics came to the scene and treated the victim. He was transported to a local hospital where he died from the gunshot wounds. The identity of the victim will not be released until the immediate family has been notified.
