Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s (LAPD) Operations Valley Bureau (OVB) Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting resulting in the death of an individual that has not been identified.
On Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 7:10 a.m., LAPD Topanga Division Patrol Officers responded to a call of a “man down” at the 21000 block of Erwin Street. Responding officers located a single male victim down in the driveway of a nearby apartment complex. The victim had sustained a gunshot to the chest. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded, and the victim was pronounced dead at scene by paramedics.
The victim has not been identified at this time. He is described as a Persian male of approximately 30-years-old.
There is no suspect information at this time.
