Detectives Seek Public’s Help Identifying a Shooting Suspect

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division Crime Against Persons
Section detectives are seeking witnesses and information related to a shooting suspect.

On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, around 5:30 p.m., an Assault With a Deadly Weapon shooting occurred near the 300 block of North Figueroa. The victim was sitting in her vehicle and waiting to pick up her brother from work when she was shot several times by the suspect riding a moped.

The suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, 30-40 years-old, wearing a bright yellow vest, full face mask and gloves.

The Los Angeles Fire Department’s paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
