Detectives Seek Public’s Help Locating Missing Person NR24227kt

Los Angeles: The family and friends of Michael Martinez and the Los Angeles Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in locating him after he was reported missing.

Martinez was last seen at his home on July 25, 2024, on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue in Los Angeles at around 3:00 p.m., and was last heard from around 6:00 p.m. His vehicle was located unoccupied and recovered by Apple Valley California Highway Patrol on July 26, 2024, in the area of the 15 freeway and Wild Wash Road.

Martinez is described as a Hispanic 23-year-old male with black hair and brown eyes that stands at 5 feet 9 inches and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black thin sweat top sweater, blue jeans, and white sandals.

Martinez’s family wants the public to be aware that not returning home is out of character for Martinez. He is in good health and is not known to suffer from any mental health issues.
