North Hills: Devonshire Division is investigating a series of armed robberies that occurred in the early morning hours of July 9th, 2022.
There were four consecutive armed robberies that included two convenience stores and two donut shops, all within close proximity of one another in the North Hills area of Devonshire Division. In the below robberies U.S. currency was taken from each location.
•7/9/22, 3:55 a.m. in the 16000 block of Parthenia Street
•7/9/22, 4:30 a.m. in the 16000 block of Nordhoff Street
•7/9/22, 4:50 a.m. in the 16000 block of Devonshire Street
•7/9/22, 5:30 a.m. in the 16000 block of San Fernando Mission Boulevard
According to video surveillance and witness statements, the suspect is described as a male, Black, between 25 and 30 years of age, 5’7” to 5’10” tall, and between 160 to 180 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black face covering, and dark jeans. In all four cases the suspect produced a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the store employee. Fortunately, no one was hurt or injured during the commission of these robberies. LAPD is aware of the series of murder/robberies in Ontario, Upland, Riverside, Santa Ana, Brea and La Habra and are working with investigators to see if there is any connection.
