Detectives Seeking Help to Identify Robbery Suspect NR13403ne

Los Angeles:  The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Newton Robbery Detectives are releasing a video that captured the robbery of a neighborhood business.  Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

On Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 3:50 P.M., a suspect entered Eddie’s 99 Cent store located at 6900 South Broadway.  The suspect walked into an aisle and pulled a rifle from his right leg. The suspect pointed the rifle at the cashier and ordered the cashier to give him the money from the cash register. The cashier handed the money to the suspect.  The suspect took the money and ran outside to a vehicle. The suspect entered the vehicle and drove away.

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, 26 to 27 years of age with black hair unknown color of eyes, 5’ feet 6” inches in height and weighs about 140 pounds.  The suspect’s vehicle is described as a 1995 – 2004 Silver or Grey Ford Mustang.
