WHY: LAPD’s Operations-South Bureau in conjunction with 77th Street Area and In-Service Training Division is pleased to announce a partnership with the clergy of Bishop Mendez and the Constitutional Rights Foundation. This partnership is pleased to announce the first ever Community Day of Service. This training will promote and maintain the positive dialogue between our department, school children, clergy, and the newest members of the LAPD family. Our department embraces the established relationship with our diverse community members and faith based organizations. We strongly encourage any and all members of our community that are interested in being a part of any future training to contact us.
