Van Nuys: Los Angeles Police Department Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the suspects responsible for killing 34-year-old Jorge Soto of Northridge.
On February 25, 2019, around 2:10 a.m., West Valley Area uniformed patrol officers responded to a radio call of an “Ambulance Shooting” in the 15800 block of Stagg Street. When officers arrived, they located a male victim in the parking lot of a business, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Los Angeles City Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he died.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was engaged in a verbal dispute with several suspects that were seated inside of a vehicle. One of the suspects exited the vehicle and shot the victim before re-entering the vehicle and fleeing the location. There is no suspect or vehicle description.
