Los Angeles: 77th Street Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the shooting incident that led to the death of 36 year-old Donald Allen, a resident of Los Angeles.
On December 2, 2004, at about 3:45 p.m., Allen was driving a white Pontiac eastbound on 56 th Street near Budlong Avenue. An early 90’s green colored Dodge containing three male Black suspects pulled up alongside and one of the suspects fired several rounds into Allen’s car. The suspects then fled the location.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded and pronounced Allen dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
