Los Angeles: Detectives from the
Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Division are seeking the
public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.
On August 27, 2017, around 11:00 a.m., a robbery occurred at a gas
station located in the East Hollywood area at the corner of Vermont
Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. The suspect entered the store at
the gas station and asked the cashier for two dollars in change.
When the cashier opened the cash register, the suspect forcefully
pushed the cashier away and grabbed the money from the cash drawer.
The suspect then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a male Black, he stands about 5 feet 11
inches to 6 feet 1 inches tall, weighs about 200-220 pounds, had a
full beard, and is approximately 25-35 years of age. He was wearing
a long-sleeved gray dress shirt, red pants, and white shoes. There
was no suspect vehicle seen.
