Educational Checkpoint in Response to A Fatal Vehicle Vs. Pedestrian Traffic Collision

When: Thursday, March 1, 2018 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Where: Beverly Boulevard and Alvarado Boulevard Los Angeles, California

Central Traffic Division will be conducting an educational checkpoint at Beverly Boulevard and Alvarado Boulevard in the City of Los Angeles. Officers from Central Traffic Division will be handing out flyers and informational pamphlets regarding safe driving, driving under the influence, safe crossing for pedestrians, and properly yielding to vehicles at an intersection. The checkpoint is in response to a fatal traffic collision that occurred on February 25, 2018, involving a vehicle and two pedestrians.
