Detectives located Won in good condition last night, and he has returned to his family.
Los Angeles: The family of Chong Pal Won and the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating him after he walked away from his residence on Sunday and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
On August 26, 2012, around 9 a.m., Won was last seen at his residence in the 3600 block of West 9th Street. Won suffers from Alzheimer’s and his family is extremely concerned for his safety and well-being.
Won is an 88-year-old Korean man, with black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighs 145 pounds. He is believed to be wearing an off white Fedora style hat, off white jacket, khaki pants, and black shoes. Won also walks with the assistance of a cane. He only speaks Korean.
