Fast Food Restaurant Robbery Captured on Video NR17216ti

South Los Angeles: The Los
Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Area Robbery detectives are
seeking the public’s assistance in capturing the suspect
responsible for the robbing at a fast food restaurant.
On July 13, 2017, around 4 p.m., suspect entered the fast food
restaurant located in the 700 block of West Imperial Highway and
stood in line. Once, the last patron purchased their items, suspect
approached the front counter and produced a knife from his right
front pants pocket.
The suspect demanded the employee to open the cash register. The
employee in fear for her life complied with the suspects demands
and opened the cash register. Suspect reached over the counter and
removed money from the till and placed it inside a plastic bag.The
Suspect then fled the location on foot with the money.
Suspect is described as a 30 to 35-year old Black male, 6 feet 2
inches to 6 feet 4 inches tall. He weighs around 220 to 240 pounds.
He was wearing a light blue collared shirt, black slacks, and has a
bald head.
