Van Nuys: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division are investigating a fatal hit-and-run that occurred on Oxnard Street and Cantaloupe Avenue. On Wednesday, July 8, 2020, around 8:55 p.m., a gray Saturn sedan was travelling eastbound on Oxnard Street when it collided with a pedestrian as they were crossing at Oxnard Street and Cantaloupe Avenue. Drivers are reminded that if they become involved in a collision they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves.
