Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Bureau Homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a double shooting that left a 49-year-old man dead.
On January 30, 2024, around 5:30 p.m., Northeast Area officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 2200 block of San Fernando Road. When the officers arrived, they discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. A second male victim was also shot.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported both victims to a local hospital. Despite lifesaving efforts, victim-1 succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. His name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin. Victim-2 is listed in stable condition.
There is no suspect description.
