Mid-City: The Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) who killed an unidentified man.
December 28, 2016, around 3:30 a.m., Wilshire area patrol officers responded to a call of shots fired at LA High Memorial Park near the 4600 block of West Olympic Boulevard. Officers found a male adult victim who was unconscious and unresponsive.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local area hospital for a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The circumstances and motive for this homicide are unknown.
The victim has not been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
