San Pedro: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the shooting death of 38-year-old Walter Crespo.
On June 11, 2018, at approximately 6:35 a.m., the victim, Walter Crespo, a 38-year-old male, was in the east/west alley of the 600 block of West 5th Street, San Pedro. Mr. Crespo was standing outside when unknown suspect(s) fired multiple rounds at the victim, striking him and causing him to fall to the ground. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the location to render aid; however, Mr. Crespo died from his injuries.
Detectives have no leads on suspect(s) and are asking for the public’s help.
