Tarzana: Los Angeles Police Department Operations Valley Bureau, Homicide detectives have made an arrest for the murder of 24-year-old Angela Hernandez.
On December 4, 2016, at about 3:40 p.m., Los Angeles Police Department West Valley Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a “Homicide,” at a local hospital.
Officers responded and discovered that Ms. Hernandez sustained a single gunshot wound and died from her injury.
Detectives investigation revealed that on December 4, 2016 at about 3:15 p.m., Ms. Hernandez, the suspect, and witnesses drove to the south end of Vanalden Avenue in the city of Tarzana. They exited their car and hiked up a dirt trail to test fire the suspect’s handgun. Upon returning to their car, suspect shot Ms. Hernandez.
Witnesses transported Ms. Hernandez to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injury.
Twenty-year-old Heriberto Gonzalez, a resident of Reseda, California, was arrested and booked for murder on December 5, 2016.
