North Hills: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect or suspects responsible for the shooting death of a man.
On December 26, 2020, at 12:30 p.m., Mission Area Patrol Officers responded to a radio call of a, “Fire Department requesting Police Department on a Suspicious Death” at 9400 block of Sepulveda Boulevard at the Hometown Inn.
Upon arrival, officers were directed to a room, where they observed the Victim laying on the ground between two beds. He was unconscious and not breathing. He was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced the Victim dead.
According to witnesses the Victim checked in on December 25, 2020, at approximately 1:00 p.m. Witnesses also stated they heard a possible gunshot late in the evening .
The Victim was a male, Hispanic, 20 years old from North Hills.
His name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
