Pacoima: The Los Angeles Police Department Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred at a flyer party in Pacoima.
On Saturday, October 29, 2016, at around 2:20 a.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a possible “Ambulance Cutting, Man Down,” at 12400 block of Bernadette Street in Pacoima.
When the officers arrived they found Mr. Victor Garcia, 22-years old, from the City of El Monte lying on the street and witnesses performing C.P.R.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported Mr. Garcia to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The preliminary investigation reveals, Mr. Garcia had attended a flyer party at the 12400 block of Bernadette Street in Pacoima. The suspects became so intoxicated and belligerent that the homeowner asked them to leave the party. This further angered the suspects and they became confrontational.
Once the suspects had left the yard an altercation ensued in the street in front of the residence. During the confrontation the suspects fought with Mr. Garcia.
One of the suspects armed himself with a knife and stabbed Mr. Garcia causing the fatal injuries.
The suspect (s) fled the scene in various vehicles, no further information is available.
