Los Angeles: Detectives from The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Traffic Division are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a hit and run driver that killed a pedestrian.
On September 11, 2015, around 4:45 am, a fatal traffic collision occurred on Washington Boulevard east of Hoover Street. The victim, who is described as a male Hispanic in his 50’s, was crossing Washington Boulevard outside the marked crosswalks. He was fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle traveling westbound on Washington Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render aid to the pedestrian as required by law.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
