Fatal Traffic Collision Kills a 31-Year-Old Man

 
A 31-year-old resident of Los Angeles was killed in a traffic collision when his vehicle crossed into the path of a bus.
On Saturday, May 1, 2005, at about 7:20 a.m., Mark Anthony Nuñez was driving his 1988 Toyota Celica eastbound on Santa Monica Boulevard when he crossed over into the westbound lanes at Normandie Avenue and collided head-on with an MTA bus.
Mr. Nuñez was transported to a local hospital where he died. It is unknown what caused the victim to drift into opposing lanes of traffic. This investigation is ongoing.
