Opens https://lacity.gov/directory in a new window.Los Angeles: On November 20, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., a 25-year-old male resident of Los Angeles, riding a 2008, Honda motorcycle, was traveling westbound on Sunset Boulevard when his motorcycle collided with a Santa Monica Big Blue Bus. The bus was negotiating a left turn from southbound Marquez Ave to eastbound Sunset Bl.
The motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene and was pronounced dead by Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel at 10:44 a.m. The investigation is on-going.
