Five Year-Old Boy Abducted by Mother

Los Angeles: On December 25, 2002, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the suspect, Yolanda Rodriguez, removed her son from the foster parent’s residence with their permission. The suspect stated that she would return the child after having lunch. The suspect failed to return the child and has not notified the foster parent of their whereabouts.
The suspect frequents the MacArthur Park area of Rampart Division. The suspect has a history of narcotic use and her lifestyle may be endangering the life of the child.
A felony warrant has been issued for the suspect’s arrest for Child Abduction.
The suspect was described as a female Hispanic, 5’3", 150 lbs., 20 years of age. The child’s name is Juan Rodriguez and he has dark curly hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a green jacket, brown shirt, brown pants and Spiderman tennis shoes.
