On Thursday, December 23, 1999, at 8:25 PM, three armed suspects entered the Conroy’s Flowers shop located in the 3600 block of Crenshaw Boulevard. Suspects entered the store posing as customers. Suspects acted as if they were shopping, as they waited for the customers to leave. Suspect # 1 then walked behind the counter area, pulled a handgun form his waistband and pointed at the employee. Suspect #1 then forced the employee to the rear of the shop and demanded money.
Suspect # 2 produced a handgun and pointed it at an employee who was on the sales floor and ordered the employee to rear of the store. He then returned to the front of the store area acting as a lookout. Suspect # 3 went to the rear of the store to watch the employees. The suspects took undisclosed amount of cash and fled from the location.
Suspect # 1 is described as a male Black, 5’7" tall, 180 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, 22 to 28 years old, heavy set build, wearing all black clothing
Suspect # 2 is described as a male Black, 5’10" to 6’0" tall, 140 to 150 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, 22 to 28 years old, wearing blue overalls. Suspect #2 speaks with a stutter and is very thin.
Suspect # 3 is described as a male Black 5’7" to 5’8" tall, 170 to180 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, 22 to 28 years old, wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans.
