Studio City: The Los
Angeles Police Department North Hollywood Robbery Detectives are
asking for public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect that
committed two business robberies in the Studio City area.
In the early morning hours of April 9, 2016, two business robberies
were committed at gas stations in Studio City. The first robbery
occurred at 1:50 a.m. in the 12500 block of Ventura Boulevard and
the second occurred at 5:40 a.m. in the 3700 block of Cahuenga
Boulevard.
In both robberies, the male suspect entered the gas station,
confronted the employee with a gun, and demanded cash and
cigarettes.
The suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, 30-40 years old, with
a grey beanie, standing at 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing around
200 pounds, and possibly has a “lazy” left eye.
The suspect was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze, 4-door, red, with a
sunroof, and unknown license plate. The suspect should be
considered armed and dangerous.
Both robberies were captured on surveillance video.
