WHAT: Police officers from the LAPD Women’s Soccer team will be playing in a friendly soccer game against one of the adult women’s soccer teams from the Youth Empowered Through Scholastics Sports (YESS) program.

WHO: LAPD Captain Jeff Nolte, Rampart Area Commanding Officer LAPD Rampart Area Officers LAPD Women’s Soccer Team Rampart Community members and members from the YESS program

WHY: Police officers from the LAPD Women’s Soccer team will be playing a goodwill game against one of the adult Women’s YESS program teams. YESS is a non-profit organization to provide and support youth positive involvement in sports and scholastic activities in the Rampart area. They will be playing in a friendly game of soccer opening lines of communications which could be lacking and reinforce relations with the community that supports us.
