Los Angeles: Detectives from
the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division are seeking
the public’s help in identifying a suspect responsible for grand
theft at two separate locations.
On August 13, 2015, between 1:15 p.m. and 1:35 p.m., a suspect
walked into a restricted area, designated for employees only, at
the “Smart and Final” Store in the 800 block of South Figueroa
Street. He removed property and left the location.
After the theft at the Smart and Final, the same suspect walked
into a restricted area, designated for employees only, at the “O”
Hotel in the 800 block of South Flower Street. He removed property
and left the location.
Both thefts are captured on video surveillance.
The suspect is described as a male Black, 40-50 years of age, with
black hair and brown eyes. He stands approximately 5 feet 10 inches
tall and weighs 150 pounds. He was wearing glasses, a white long
sleeve polo shirt, dark pants, and white shoes.
