HACLA/LAPD Hollenbeck 1st Annual Holiday Toy Giveaway in Ramona Gardens

WHAT:
This event is occurring due to the Community Safety Partnership (CSP) between     LAPD/Hollenbeck area and HACLA.  Santa and his sleigh will travel from Hollenbeck Area     to the Ramona Gardens Housing Development. LAPD along with HACLA will give out toys to the children that reside in Ramona Gardens.

WHEN:
Tuesday, December 20, 2011
5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

WHERE:
At approximately 5 p.m., Santa Claus and his Sleigh will travel from Hollenbeck Area to Ramona Gardens (via Soto Street then enter into Ramona Gardens on Lancaster Avenue). The event will take place to the rear of the Ramona Gardens Recreation Center  (outside basketball courts) 2830 Lancaster Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90033.

WHO:
LAPD/Hollenbeck Area Community Safety Partnership (CSP) officers;
Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles;
Deputy Chief Jose Perez, Commanding Officer, Central Bureau;
Captain Anita Ortega, Commanding Officer, Hollenbeck Area;
LAPD Bomb Squad;
Traffic Motorcycle officers, Central Traffic Division;
LAPD Hollenbeck Area Personnel;
LAPD Pacific Area Senior Lead Officers Jacobus and Garcia and Pacific Area Community         Volunteer Monica Harmon (Sleigh will be traveling from its home in Pacific Area to Hollenbeck); and, Community service providers Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), Metropolitan Division.
