Harbor Area Detectives Arrest Suspect in Fast Food Restaurant Assault NR23694dm

Harbor City:  Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Area announce the arrest of the suspect involved in the assault of a 13-year-old victim at a fast food restaurant.

On Wednesday, September 6, 2023, cell phone video recordings captured a female adult suspect assaulting the victim at a fast food restaurant in the 1700 block of Lomita Boulevard.  The public’s continued interest in the incident resulted in investigators receiving numerous leads, ultimately assisting detectives in positively identifying the suspect.

On September 28, 2023, detectives located and arrested Ariana Lauifi (Booking #6685591).  She was subsequently booked for one count of 273a(a) PC, Felony Child Abuse, and her case will be referred to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.
