Harbor Gateway: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Division are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect, or suspects, responsible for the shooting death of a 40-year-old man.
On April 20, 2017, around 6:40 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 1500 block of W. Carson Street in the City of Torrance. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a male on the sidewalk suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. A second victim was shot in the arm.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported both victims to a local hospital where the first victim later died of his injuries.
There is no suspect description.
