WHY:
The Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Division will be hosting an event with Healthy Room Project. During this event, officers will have the opportunity to bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community. In a world where life’s journey can be challenging, the Healthy Room Project stands as a beacon of hope for at-risk youth ages 5-16. Through one day missions, we will renovate the family bedrooms, providing the essential kids need to learn, play, study, sleep, and dream big! This program helps develop the children’s emotional, behavioral, academic, and physical health. In partnership, the Los Angeles Police Department and Healthy Room Project will endeavor to execute this one-day project for a family of seven.
