Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding the driver responsible for a hit-and-run that injured a 33-year-old woman.
On May 16, 2012, around 3:30 a.m., the car was traveling North bound on La Cienega when it ran off the road and collided into a building. The driver exited the car, pulled the passenger out and left her on the sidewalk.
The driver of the Black Lincoln Town car left the scene in an unknown direction, failing to stop and render aid or identify himself.
The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the injured passenger to a local hospital. The passenger sustained a broken pelvis, broken jaw, broken right leg, and complained of pain on entire body. She is in stable condition.
The driver of the car is described as a male White, approximately 35 years of age. The investigation is still ongoing.
