Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the hit and run driver responsible for the death of 42-year-old Rigoberto Pivaral.
On Sunday, November 9, 2008, at about 6:30 a.m., Pivaral, a Los Angeles resident, was found lying in the street unconscious near the 10600 block of South Hoover Street next to a parked car. He was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
Investigators determined that Pivaral was likely walking eastbound on Hoover Street from 107th Street when he was struck by an unknown motorist traveling northbound on Hoover Street. The motorist failed to stop, render aid, or to identify him or herself.
