Hit And Run Fatal Collision Investigation

 
Los Angeles: On Monday, December 1, 2003, at about 8:10 p.m., a fatal vehicle vs. pedestrian hit and run traffic collision occurred on Western Avenue near 43rd Street, in Southwest Area. An unidentified male Black, approximately 40 year of age, was crossing Western Avenue when a vehicle traveling northbound on Western Avenue struck him. The vehicle continued northbound and failed to stop and render aid to the pedestrian. Witnesses described the hit and run vehicle as a green compact type car.
Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene of the traffic collision and pronounced the victim dead.
