Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s West Traffic Division (WTD) detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run collision that severely injured a 22-year-old female.

On October 16, 2024, around 3:41 a.m., a gray sedan, possibly a Toyota Camry, was traveling northbound on Western Avenue approaching Clinton Street when it struck a female pedestrian who was crossing Western Avenue. The gray sedan continued northbound on Western Avenue without stopping to identify themselves or render aid as required by law. A male pedestrian, who was crossing the street with the female, fled the scene without identifying themselves as a potential witness to the crime.

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and provided medical treatment before transporting the pedestrian to a local area hospital for further treatment.
