WHAT: Hollywood Community Police Station’s, “Back to School – Shop with a Cop” Event WHEN: Tuesday, August 13th, 2019 3:00 P.M to 5:00 P.M.
WHERE: Hollywood Community Police Station 1358 N. Wilcox Ave Los Angeles, California 90028 (Meeting location)
WHO: LAPD Captain Steve Lurie, Hollywood Area Commanding Officer LAPD Captain Scot Williams, Hollywood Area Patrol Commanding Officer LAPD Hollywood Area Community Relations Officers, Senior Lead Officers, Officers and Detectives, and Twenty-five children from the local Hollywood Area Community
WHY: Through the generosity of the Matthew 25:35 Foundation, twenty-five children from the Hollywood Area Community will be accompanied by a Police Officer as they shop for their back to school supplies. The children and their Officer escorts will transport them from Hollywood Community Police Station to the Staples store located at 6450 Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028 where the children will select a backpack and supplies for the upcoming school year.
