Hollywood: Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect responsible for the stabbing of a man on Hollywood Boulevard.
On May 12, 2018 around 10:00 a.m., the victim, a male in his 20s, was in the 6600 block of Hollywood Boulevard. The victim had approached the suspect, a male in a wheelchair, who was smoking near a business. The victim and male had a brief argument and the male in the wheelchair stood up, armed with a knife, and stabbed the victim in the arm. The victim walked away from the suspect and the suspect left the location immediately after the incident.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he underwent emergency surgery due to the severity of the injury.
Hollywood investigators have collected surveillance footage of the suspect and are seeking the public’s help in identifying him. The suspect is described as a male, Black, 30-40 years of age, medium build.
