Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department Detectives from Hollywood Division are investigating a severe beating of a 21-year-old man, who is in critical condition.
On November 1, 2008, at 3:50 a.m., patrol officers were directed to the victim, who was down on the sidewalk in front of 6667 Hollywood Boulevard. The officers found the victim unconscious and suffering from a head wound. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
The detectives are interested in two suspects. Investigation revealed one of the suspects, for unknown reason, punched the victim causing serious injury to his head. Both suspects fled on foot.
First suspect has been described as a Black male, 6’2”, 140-170 pounds, 20-25 years of age. Second suspect is described as a Black male, 5’8”, 150 pounds, 18-25 years of age. Both suspects were wearing black shirts and blue jeans.
The victim is a 21-year-old male Hispanic. His identity is not being released.
