Los Angeles: A 37-year-old Los Angeles resident was shot and killed as he opened his front door Monday evening.
On April 3, 2006, at about 8:20 p.m., in the 3900 block of West Marathon Street, the victim was sitting in his living room when he heard noises outside his front door. The victim got up, opened the door and was shot one time in the face by an unknown assailant.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
The suspects are described as two male Blacks 5’6” to 5’8” in height. No other description is available at this time.
The victim’s name is being withheld until a family member has been notified.
