Wednesday, December 8, 1999
On Tuesday, December 7, 1999, at 9:30 AM, two armed suspects entered a residence in the 11300 block of Elkwood Street in North Hollywood. The suspects demanded money from three residents in the house.
When they didn’t get as much money as they wanted, they forced one of the victims to go with them to Lockheed Credit Union in the City of Burbank in order to withdraw more money. The victim managed to alert a teller at the bank who in turn called the Burbank Police. The Burbank Police arrested one of the suspects at the bank and contacted LAPD North Hollywood who responded to the Elkwood address. North Hollywood officers located the additional victims and suspect at the residence. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Enrique Alvarez, Male, Hispanic, 21 years old, $150,000 Bail
Suspect two:
16 year old male juvenile, detained at Juvenile Hall
