Los Angeles: On Sunday, November 30, 2003, during the early morning hours, three male and one female suspects entered a residence in the 2400 block of Redondo Beach Boulevard. The suspects, two of them armed with unknown type handguns, confronted two male and a female victims who were in the residence. While the suspects demanded money and valuables, a struggle ensued between the suspects and the two male victims. One of the victims was shot and killed and the other was stabbed by the suspects. The suspects then ransacked the residence, took money and valuables and fled the location.
The deceased victim has been identified as 33 year-old Alfred Thornton. The stabbed victim, a 31 year-old male, was hospitalized, but he is expected to recover. The third victim, a 66 year-old female, was not injured during the robbery.
The suspects are described as three Black males and one female Black. One of the male suspects was about 20-25 years of age and the other two male suspect were in their 30’s.
