Los Angeles: Two men were shot, and one died, after a dispute in a Korea Town Karaoke Bar.
On Sunday, June 7, 2009, at around 2:10 a.m., two men became involved in a dispute inside a Karaoke Bar in the 4000 block of West 6th Street. As the two men walked outside of the bar, a suspect, described only as a Korean man, shot them before driving off in a black vehicle.
Michael Lee, a 36-year old Korean man from Anaheim Hills, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The other victim, a 37-year-old Korean man from Los Angeles, was listed in stable condition with a graze wound to the head.
Later in the evening, detectives were able to identify the shooter, 22-year-old Louis Lee, a resident of Rowland Heights. Lee was arrested and booked for the murder of Michael Lee and is being held on $1 million dollar bail.
