Homicide Detectives Investigate a Homicide

 
Los Angeles: 77th Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of Juan Moreno, a 28 year-old male Hispanic. The shooting occurred on March 16, 2003, at approximately 7:30 p.m.
According to the preliminary investigation, the victim was on the sidewalk in front of the 1300 block of West 59th Place when he was shot by suspect(s). Los Angeles Fire Department Paramedics responded to the location and transported the victim to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
The shooting appears to be gang-related. The suspect(s) and weapon(s) are outstanding.
