San Pedro: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Division homicide detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a murder suspect.
On Saturday, August 13, 2016, around 11:35 p.m., the victim and the suspect were involved in an argument in the 1300 block of South Pacific Avenue in San Pedro. The suspect pulled out a handgun and shot the victim and two additional victims.
The Los Angeles City Fire Department Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The additional victims were also transported to a local hospital and remain in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic.
The incident is gang related and is an ongoing investigation. The identity of the victim is being withheld until notification of the victim’s next of kin.
