Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Bureau Homicide is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a homicide suspect.
On September 30, 2021, around 6:15 a.m., Northeast Area officers responded to a radio call of a “Death Investigation,” at Ewing Street and Park Drive. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim, Ezekiel Fiero, being treated by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. The officers were advised that Fierro was found unresponsive and not breathing. Fierro was pronounced dead at 6:30 a.m. by the paramedics.
Further investigation led to the discovery of a spent bullet casing near Fierro’s body.
Upon locating the casing, Central Bureau Homicide was notified, and detectives responded to assume investigative responsibility for the case.
