Rampart Division: On June 9, 2020, around 5:20 a.m., a homicide occurred on the 800 block of North Vermont Avenue.

Preliminary investigation revealed, officers responded to a Shots Fired radio call on the 800 block of North Vermont Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found the victim (male Hispanic, 40 years) with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Los Angeles City Fire Department paramedics. There is no suspect information. It is unknown if the incident is gang related.
