Los Angeles – On Monday, April 9, 2001, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a shooting occurred inside of the Calis Cuisine Restaurant located at 3415 South Crenshaw Boulevard. During the incident, three male Blacks were shot. One of the males was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two were transported to a local hospital where one is listed in critical condition and the other is in stable condition. All three males were in their early twenties and of Jamaican decent.
The motive for this crime has not been established and the suspect(s) have not been identified. The investigation is still on-going by Southwest Division Homicide Detectives.
