North Hollywood: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are investigating a murder in North Hollywood.
On January 11, 2022, around 3:43 p.m., the victim and several other men were at an establishment located on the 13000 block of Victory Boulevard. They became involved in a verbal altercation with a group of 3-4 men outside of the restaurant. The interaction quickly became violent. A large fight occurred which was then followed by a shooting that involved several shooters. Multiple people fled the area in different directions.
North Hollywood Division officers responded. One of the involved men was struck by gunfire multiple times. He was transported to a local hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department and was pronounced deceased.
Another person, associated with the group, was located in the parking lot, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries. He is expected to recover.
