Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect involved in the killing of a man on the sidewalk in the 8800 block of Van Nuys Boulevard.
On November 22, 2023, around 9:40 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a medical call of a man down. When the paramedics arrived, they determined the victim had sustained a gunshot wound. Mission Division patrol officers responded to conduct an investigation.
The victim was transported by rescue ambulance to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The victim’s name is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
